Giorgio Morocica is Export Manager at ALL-FOOD, the Italian food export office based in Tuscany. He runs the sourcing and export side of the business: matching importers, distributors and retail chains with Italian producers, checking product quality before it ships, and putting together the origin, food-safety and market-specific documentation each destination requires.
His work covers the full range of ALL-FOOD's catalogue, from cheese, cured meats and olive oil to pasta, preserved foods and bakery products, and spans the company's core export markets: the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, the Middle East (including Saudi Arabia and the UAE), Europe and South America. Day to day, that means confirming which producers are actually eligible to ship to a given country, sizing a first order so a reorder stays possible, and making sure a buyer's compliance questions get answered before they become a shipping problem.
On the ALL-FOOD blog, Giorgio writes about the practical side of Italian food sourcing: import compliance, halal and shelf-life requirements, minimum order quantities, and what actually decides whether a given Italian producer can legally ship to a specific market.
