San Chimento: Our Own Italian Salumi Brand for Importers

Hanging Italian salumi, prosciutto and salami in a traditional Italian salumeria display

San Chimento is ALL-FOOD's own salumi brand. We own the brand and set the specification; production is carried out for us by established Italian salumifici. Importers get a consistent range under one label, with the documentation prepared in Italy before the pallet leaves.

Formats, Packaging and Shelf Life

All lines are vacuum packed. Cured products carry a 180-day shelf life, cooked products 120 days. Unit weights run from 160g to 9kg, with units per carton from 2 to 25. Fixed-weight 200g and 250g salametti are available for retail shelf programmes.

Certifications

Across the San Chimento range our producing plants hold IFS Food and BRC Food certification. Depending on the line, products may also carry EU organic certification through ICEA, antibiotic-free and gluten-free claims, and the protected designations for Mortadella Bologna IGP, Cotechino Modena IGP, Zampone Modena IGP and Prosciutto di Parma. Which certifications apply depends on the specific product and the producing plant, and we confirm the certificates for your order before anything is quoted.

Minimum Order Quantity

There is no single minimum for San Chimento. It depends on the market, the product family and whether you are building a mixed pallet or a single-line pallet. Ambient and long shelf-life lines start lower than short shelf-life cooked products. Tell us the market and the lines you want and we will come back with the real minimum, not a headline number.

Which Markets San Chimento Can Ship To

  • EU and UK — free circulation, standard commercial documentation.
  • USA and Canada — pork salumi requires the producing establishment to hold the relevant approval. We confirm eligibility for the specific product before quoting, never after. For the wider documentation picture on this market, see our cured meats guide.
  • Australia — Italian pork salumi is not currently viable.
  • Middle East — not applicable, this is a pork range.

Private Label Salumi

Same production and specification with the buyer's brand on the pack, through the same private label programme we operate across every category.
