ALL FOOD is your Italian food supplier and export partner for Canada, based in Tuscany. We source authentic Italian food from established producers, quality-check every batch and prepare the origin and food-safety paperwork your Canadian importer, broker and retail customers ask for. Our team runs the Italy side of the supply chain so your buying and logistics teams can focus on the Canadian market.
ALL FOOD is a sourcing and export partner, not a manufacturer and not the Canadian importer of record. We do not hold a Safe Food for Canadians licence and we do not guarantee customs clearance, which is the role of your Canadian importer and licensed broker. What we do guarantee is that the paperwork leaving Italy is complete, accurate and ready for CFIA requirements and CBSA entry.

Canadian import compliance, handled from the Italy side
Every shipment leaves Italy with the paperwork your Canadian broker and importer need. We prepare the documents; your importer files the entries. Typical package includes:
- Producer details and food-safety documentation for your importer's Preventive Control Plan under the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations.
- Bilingual English and French label artwork, including ingredient lists and allergen declarations.
- Nutrition Facts table in the Canadian bilingual format, with metric units.
- Country of origin marking and "Product of Italy" declaration.
- Certificates of origin and EUR.1 or origin declarations for CETA tariff preference.
- Independent laboratory analyses, chemical, microbiological and organoleptic, per lot.
- Producer facility certifications: ISO 22000, BRC or IFS.
- Organic and PDO / PGI documentation where applicable, matched to the lot on the label.
How we work with Canadian importers and distributors
- Brief. You tell us the products, target Canadian retail channel (grocery, specialty, food-service, ecommerce), volume and destination port.
- Producer match and samples. We shortlist Italian producers and ship samples with full specifications for approval.
- Quote and MOQ. Price, minimum order quantity, incoterms (typically FOB Italy or CIF Canadian port) and lead time.
- Labels and compliance review. We check nutrition tables, ingredient statements, allergen text, bilingual French and English requirements and origin claims against CFIA and Health Canada rules for your channel.
- Production and quality control. Batch produced and audited before dispatch, with laboratory analyses issued.
- Export and documentation. Shipment consolidated, containerised and dispatched to Montreal, Halifax or Vancouver with the paperwork pack ready for your customs broker on arrival.
Why Canadian buyers source with ALL FOOD
- One point of contact in Italy. Sourcing, quality, packaging, compliance and export handled by one team, so your buyer is not chasing five vendors across Europe.
- Direct Italian producer relationships. We visit and audit the producers we work with, and we can match you with the right one instead of pushing a single fixed catalog.
- Bilingual labels handled in Italy. French and English artwork prepared before production, so your shipment does not get held for a labelling correction.
- Traceable, transparent lots. Every case is traceable back to producer, plant and batch.
- Flexible volumes. From a mixed pilot pallet to full-container programs, scaling as your Canadian sell-through grows.

Frequently asked questions
Do you help with CFIA requirements for importing Italian food?
Yes, from the Italy side. We supply the producer documentation and food-safety records your importer needs for their Preventive Control Plan, plus origin and laboratory paperwork. Your Canadian importer holds the Safe Food for Canadians licence and remains responsible for the import.
Do you provide bilingual French and English labels?
Yes. We prepare bilingual artwork including ingredient lists, allergen statements and the Nutrition Facts table before production, so labels arrive compliant rather than being reworked in Canada.
Does CETA reduce duty on Italian food imported to Canada?
For most Italian food categories, yes, provided the origin paperwork is correct. We issue EUR.1 certificates or origin declarations so your broker can claim preference. Dairy is the exception, where quota rules apply.
Which Canadian ports do you ship to?
Most commonly Montreal, Halifax and Vancouver, consolidated into full or mixed containers depending on your volume.
What is your minimum order for the Canadian market?
It depends on format. Mixed retail containers start lower than single-product bulk. Tell us your products and target volume and we will confirm the MOQ.
Ready to ship Italian food to Canada?
Tell us your channel, the products and your country, and we will come back with a selection, pricing and delivery terms, usually within 48 hours.
