Italian Food Export Markets

Where we ship, and what actually changes from one market to the next.

ALL FOOD exports authentic Italian food from Tuscany to importers, distributors and retailers across six markets. The products are the same. The paperwork, the labels and the constraints are not. This page shows what changes where, so you know which conversation you are about to have before you start it.

The six markets

United States

The largest single market for Italian specialty food, and the one with the most paperwork sitting on your side rather than ours. We prepare the producer registration details, FSVP data pack and US-format labels so your importer and broker can file cleanly.

Europe

Buying direct from Italy instead of through a local distributor, with no customs entry and no import duty inside the single market. Shorter lead times and a shorter chain between the producer and your shelf.

Canada

Bilingual English and French labelling is mandatory and it is where most shipments get held. We prepare the artwork and the Nutrition Facts table in Italy, and issue the origin documents your broker needs to claim CETA preference.

Australia

Strict biosecurity and a long transit are the two things that shape an Australian range. We assemble packing declarations and treatment certificates before dispatch, and plan production dates so stock lands with useful shelf life.

Middle East

Halal certification, Arabic labelling and shelf-life minimums on arrival, with requirements that differ between Gulf states. We confirm the destination country’s rules before production rather than after.

South America

Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Colombia are four different rulebooks, not one region. We tell you upfront which of our producers are already registered for your destination.

Not seeing your market?

We ship beyond these six. Tell us the destination country, the products and the channel, and we will confirm what is workable before you commit to a range.

Ready to source Italian food for your market?

Tell us your channel, the products and your country, and we will come back with a selection, pricing and delivery terms, usually within 48 hours.
