We do not issue halal certificates ourselves and we do not guarantee customs or municipality clearance, which is the role of your local importer and clearing agent. What we do guarantee is that the paperwork leaving Italy is complete, accurate and matched to the destination country's requirements.

Middle East import compliance, handled from the Italy side

Every shipment leaves Italy with the paperwork your clearing agent and importer need. We prepare the documents; your importer files the entries. Typical package includes:

• Halal certification from an approved body, arranged with the producer where the category requires it.
• Bilingual Arabic and English label artwork, including ingredient lists and allergen declarations.
• Production and expiry dates printed to destination-country format, with the remaining shelf life the importing market requires on arrival.
• Certificates of origin, legalised where the destination requires it.
• Health certificates and free sale certificates.
• Conformity documentation for the destination market, including Saudi requirements where applicable.
• Independent laboratory analyses, chemical, microbiological and organoleptic, per lot.
• Producer facility certifications: ISO 22000, BRC or IFS.
• Organic and PDO / PGI documentation where applicable.

How we work with Gulf importers and distributors

1. Brief. You tell us the products, destination country, retail channel (hypermarket, specialty, HORECA, ecommerce), volume and destination port.
2. Producer match and samples. We shortlist Italian producers and ship samples with full specifications for approval.
3. Quote and MOQ. Price, minimum order quantity, incoterms (typically FOB Italy or CIF Gulf port) and lead time.
4. Labels and compliance review. We confirm the destination country's rules before production, not after, and prepare Arabic and English artwork, dating and halal documentation to match.
5. Production and quality control. Batch produced and audited before dispatch, with laboratory analyses issued and production dates planned against your shipping schedule.
6. Export and documentation. Shipment consolidated, containerised and dispatched to Jebel Ali, Jeddah, Dammam or Hamad with the paperwork pack ready for your clearing agent on arrival.
